A growing family needed additional living space and an expanded entry point from their Dining Room to Kitchen.
In the kitchen, Hinsdale took an existing single door opening and doubled the opening size into the dining area. Original casing and trim was matched to blend in with the existing house. In the basement, poorly finished space was gutted and turned into a new Recreation Room. Ductwork was relocated and modified to create additional head room. A pocket door was installed to create closet space below the stairway and a french door was installed at the top of the stairs to allow natural light into the stairway and basement.
